White Chicken Biryani | Home made White Biryani | Biriyani Special by Sandipta's Cookery
Preparation time - 20 minutes
Cooking time - 1 hour 15 minutes

Ingredients -
Whole spices-
1 tsp Cumin seeds
4 nos Cardamom seeds
2 nos Bay leaves
1 nos Star anise
Spice powder -
1 tbsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Garam masala powder
1 tsp Cumin powder
2 tsp White pepper powder
2 tsp Black pepper powder
For cream paste -
4 tbsp Heavy whipping cream
1 tbsp Cashew nuts powder
½ tsp Nutmeg and mace powder
½ tsp Cardamom powder
Other ingredients-
1 cups Basmati rice ( 90%cooked)
8 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Ginger paste
1 tbsp Garlic paste
½ cup Birista
2 tsp Salt
½ cup Curd
½ cup Milk
2 tsp Chopped coriander leaves
2 tsp Chopped green chili
Chicken as required
Alubukhara as required
Melted ghee as required
Procedure -
1.Heat a pan of oil and add whole spices, when it starts splatter add chicken and cook till it's colour change.

3. Add curd and cook for 3 minutes then add milk , chopped coriander- green chilis and cover and cook till chicken is tender.

4. In a bowl add all ingredients listed under " Cream Paste" and pour into the chicken for few minutes and shut the flame.

Assemble -
1.In a pot half quantity of prepared chicken.

2. Add half quantity of cooked basmati rice, ghee, alubukhara.

3. Add remaining chicken, chopped coriander- green chilis.

4. Add remaining rice, birista, ghee and cover and cook on low flame for 5-10 minutes.

5. Once it's done, serve hot.
