Hash Brown by Sandipta's Cookery |
Preparation time - 20 minutes
Cooking time - 40 minutes
Serve - 4
3-4 nos Potatoes (raw)
2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Rice flour
½ tsp Red chili powder
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Black pepper powder
1 tbsp Corn flour
2-3 tbsp Grated cheese
Ice cold water as required
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Procedure: -
1.At first grate the potatoes. Add grated potatoes in ice cold water for 10 minutes.

2. Then drain and squeeze out completely with the help of muslin cloth and keep aside.

3. Heat a pan with butter, add grated potatoes, mix well and cook for 5 minutes. Let it cool down.

4. Add rice flour, red chili powder, onion powder, black pepper powder, cornflour, cheese, salt to taste. Combine well and let it for 5 minutes.

5. Grease your hands with oil and make oval shape of the potato mixture.

6. Heat oil and fry till light golden brown in colour.
